Where is the raw and processed data stored ?

Data is stored on the EITS computer in the Building B Communiations Room.  A RAID is attached to this computer that holds all the raw and processed data. This RAID is defined as drive "E:" and data on it can be accessed by either logging into the EITS computer through a Remote Desktop Connection, or through http access from within the MBARI firewall here:

http://eits.shore.mbari.org/e/

There are three folders, namely, EITSincoming, EITSprocessed, and EITSraw. Descriptions of the directories can be found here: EITS RAID directories

How do I change where the data is stored ?

The data locations are tied to cron jobs. Don't just randomly change the directories because it will break the data handling workflow. See the EITS experiment software section in the EITS documentation for more information about to change the workflow.
